I had signed up not even a week ago and had to cancel due to restrictions from my surgeon with me having open knee surgery. The fitness team here was quick to refund and cancel my request within the 7 day limit. The gym itself looks great. I have no issues with this gym it's amazing. I will be back once I'm healed up enough from being post op on my open knee surgery ?

After signing up for a membership, I left Warner Robins, GA, because of a job offer in Virginia. I forgot to cancel my membership in person because things happen so quickly with the other job. After a few months, I reached out through email to have documented proof of contact that I wanted to cancel my membership because I no longer lived in the area. At the bottom of the Max Fitness web page is a section that provides them with contact information and text about your concerns. After reaching out two or three times over several months while still paying for a membership I could no longer use, I got no response. It was not until after I stopped payments that they reached out through a collection agency. If you can sign up online, you should be able to cancel your membership online, and if you aren’t going to respond to questions/concerns submitted through the website, why should a customer continue to pay for something they can’t use?

Large, clean facility with tons of machines, weights, and exercise classes. Their personal training sessions are pretty affordable and make a HUGE difference!
If you decide to do personal training, ask for Wayne! I was VERY out of shape when I started, and he was so patient and friendly. He'll meet you where you are and help you work up to where you want to be, and you'll have fun in the process.
Through working with him, I am continuing to lose weight and build muscle (the latter of which I never thought I could do!) I can't recommend him enough!

Awesome gym! Kaleb the general manager was very helpful and welcoming. I was only in town for a few weeks, but the group classes were so much fun and the gym is very clean. I will be signing up for a membership if I move back to the area.

Beautiful gym and very clean! Staff members very helpful! Marissa is soo sweet and always willing to help me out by showing me how the machines work. Kaleb, her manager, also nice guy and very chill! I recommend this gym 100%!

I was in town for a week and needed a place to work out. The manager was cool and gave me a good deal on a 7 day pass. The gym is very nice and clean. A lot of dumbbells and plenty of room. I would definitely join if I lived near in town.

Very nice gym, Amazing people, really well working machines, great staff, locker rooms are nice, and overall an amazing place definitely recommend for people wanting to work out without having to join a class and want to workout at your own pace.

Large and Clean gym. However, for how ridiculously expensive Max is compared to other gyms in the area, and for how large the gym is and the amount of staff there is, there is absolutely 0 equipment available for machines that need them in order for the machine to be used. And if there is, it’s absolutely not in the right spot, or even at other machines that would use them.

Several younger aged people just standing around at equipment talking and not actively using the machine as well. I’m sure we all know what crowd/age group that is.

Lastly, in regards to equipment, there is SEVERAL cardio machines, but hardly any free weights, assisted weight machines, squat racks, bench press racks etc- which just makes it even worse to try and use because of the certain age group of people going in like it’s a hangout spot and not a gym.

I absolutely will not be renewing my membership here and will take my business elsewhere. I highly advise everyone else to do the same until those issues/concerns are addressed.
